Botox Treatments
Only BOTOX® Cosmetic is FDA-approved to temporarily make moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines look better in adults. A combination of factors can cause facial lines. It’s not just about the cellular changes that may occur, or reduction of collagen, or damage caused by free radicals from the sun and the environment.
Repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, or raising eyebrows cause skin to furrow and fold, gradually resulting in the formation of facial lines. BOTOX® Cosmetic works beneath the surface and temporarily reduces the underlying muscle activity that causes moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines in adults – to help them look visibly smoother.

JEUVEAU Treatments
In addition to asking, “What Is Jeuveau?” many patients wonder, “What is the difference between Jeuveau and Botox?” Although Jeuveau and Botox are extremely similar, there are two main distinctions between the two neurotoxins.
To start, Jeuveau is constructed using Hi-Pure Technology. This advancement takes additional measures to purify the protein, thereby increasing its safety. Additionally, Evolus, the maker of Jeuveau, is an aesthetic company and created Jeuveau for cosmetic purposes only. On the other hand, Botox is used to treat signs of aging and a variety of medical conditions.
This difference allows Evolus to offer Jeuveau at a more competitive price than Botox. As a result, patients will end up paying less per unit for Jeuveau than they would for Botox.
JUVÉDERM Treatments
Juvéderm® is a family of injectable hyaluronic acid dermal fillers used to provide 9 months to one year of correction for moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth). It is also used for lip augmentation.
Juvéderm products are a smooth consistency gel, compared to some hyaluronic gel products that have a granular consistency.
Juvéderm products are developed using the Hylacross technology to allow a smoother, malleable gel. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar found in the body. Hyaluronic acid works by holding in water at the injection site and acting as a cushioning agent. It adds temporary volume and a smoother appearance to skin.
RADIESSE Treatments
By stimulating your body’s own natural supply of collagen, RADIESSE smooths unwanted facial lines and wrinkles and keeps your definition intact.
- Smile lines: also called the nasolabial folds, are the lines that run from the corners of the nose to the corners of the mouth
- Marionette lines: the lines that run downward from the corners of the mouth
- Corners of the mouth: also called the oral commissure, if these are turned downward it can make you look as though you’re frowning
- Pre-jowl fold: the area on either side of the chin, where skin can sag due to loss of facial volume
- Chin wrinkles: horizontal lines that can form on your chin and distract from your smile
XEOMIN Treatments
Frown lines form when facial expressions are made as the muscle under the skin contracts. Over time, as your skin ages, these repeated expressions cause lasting frown lines.
Neurotoxins, such as Xeomin®, are prescription medications that block the release of chemicals that cause these muscle contractions so frown lines are softened.
Xeomin® is made through a unique precision manufacturing process that isolates the therapeutic component of the molecule and removes the accessory proteins that don’t play an active role in treatment.
